V-Applying to the Roman Catholic Church test the seals of the True Church.
Calvin explains that one must know the true Church. Recognizes that true Church through two essential elements, or both "infallible" sincere preaching of the Word of God and administering the sacraments (Baptism and Eucharist) as the institution of Jesus Christ. This is how we know the Church, for the promise of God can not fail: Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I with them (Matt. 18:20). When these marks or signs are not clearly expressed in a so-called church even has the appearance of serious and even if it were a group of very religious and pious, it is no longer God's Church. 6 - Infallibility Papal.
In the theology of the Roman Catholic papal infallibility is a doctrine, under which, the Pope is preserved from making a mistake when he promulgates, or declares, to the Church a dogmatic teaching on faith and moral issues in the range of solemn papal definition or declaration ex cathedra, as every truth of faith does not lend itself to discussion of any kind.
This doctrine is a dogmatic definition established First Vatican Council in 1870. Papal infallibility does not mean that the pope is safe from sin, or free of errors. Regarding the church's doctrinal guidance, teaching of the Pope is infallible when it is enacted as a solemn papal definition, secured personal assistance provided by the Holy Spirit.
The Dogmatic Constitution Pastor Aeternus, promulgated by Pope Pius IX on July 18, 1870, having been developed and approved by Vatican Council I, contains the solemn definition of the Dogma of Papal Infallibility, which is worded as follows :
"... with the approval of the sacred council, teach and define be divinely revealed dogma that the Roman Pontiff, when he speaks ex cathedra, that is, when exercising his office as Pastor and Doctor of all Christians, by virtue of his supreme apostolic authority, defines a doctrine concerning faith or morals and should be taught be held by the whole Church, has, by the divine assistance promised him in blessed Peter, that infallibility which the divine Redeemer willed his Church to enjoy in defining doctrine of faith and morals. Therefore, the definitions of the Bishop of Rome are irreformable for themselves and not by reason of the consent of the Church. Thus, if anyone has the temerity, which God forbid, to contradict it, our definition, is anathema. "
These include (purgatory, baptismal regeneration which is not at this point because it elaborated on the issue before the intercession of saints, etc) show the detachment of the Roman Catholic Church the sound preaching of the Scriptures.
Therefore we can say that does not pass the examination of the seals of the true church, by failing to exercise a preaching of the Gospel.
