Hp Commercial Song December 2009

I Am.

"And God said to Moses, I am who I am. And he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. "Ex.3: 14.

In the Bible the names who referred to people possessing vital importance, usually describing some quality of the individual to whom it belonged. For example: Deborah was a judge and prophetess of all Israel, his name means bee, like a bee because it gives the sweet honey taught the Word of God to the people, a bee also possesses a sharp and painful sting, and Deborah had in his hand the sword of justice.
names revealed to us that God adopts are extremely significant as we talk about the qualities of our King. Searching the Scriptures we find many names that God has appointed himself: "Jehovah-Jire (Lord will provide)" in Gn.22: 14 , "Jehovah Nissi (The Lord is my banner)" in Ex.17: 15 , "Tsidkenou Jehovah (Jehovah our righteousness)" in Jer.33: 16 . These are just a sampling of all the names of God, yet there is no name more revealing, or that we talk more about its owner that "I am who I am."
"I am" reveals God's self-sufficiency. He does not need anything to exist, but all creatures die without care. He is always and forever, we, however, comes to life for his mighty hand and live while it sustains us. God is never frustrated the plans, no one holds your hand and asks what do you do?. Our Supreme King is strong by itself himself and his power comes from no other. The name "I am" characterizes and explains the other names of God. What a blessing to ours that we are called to fight in the ranks of I AM.
